I’ve never been one for resolutions, but 2020 has been so god-awful. I don’t need to tell anyone that. One of the unexpected side effects of the unexpected is that so much feels left undone. As a result, I feel like a bull in a pen, ready to bust out the gate and tackle anything in my way.
I guess I’m saying that i’m motivated. And these are not so much resolutions as important items on my to do list. Here goes:
First and foremost, I am DYING to spend quality time with my family. I only hope they realize how much I love them.
Along the same vein, one of my greatest blessings is that I am not alone. Never have been. When it comes to family and friends, I am BLESSED with the BEST. The only things missing are sex and romance. Is it selfish to crave the proverbial candlelit dinners and walks on the beach? I’m doing my level best to make them happen, but your help is always welcome. Would anyone like to set me up on a blind date?
I never necessarily aspired to Broadway, and I’m very glad to have other skills that pay the bills, but I do fully intend to get serious about coaching (acting and vocal), and spreading my performing wings a bit.
I’m content in my day job except for the occasional difficult day, but that’s to be expected. And I’m finally pretty comfortable financially. But I wouldn’t mind something that pays a little better to afford me a little nicer place to live and the ability to whittle this list down a bit.
And lastly, I’ve been telling myself for quite a while now that I really need to spend more time in the city again. I don’t really want to live there. I didn’t even get a place there when I was in grad school at NYU. But my awesome little brother lives in Brooklyn. My incomparable vocal coach spends time there, and we could work there if we wanted to. I could audition. And wouldn’t a date in the city be delicious? There is just so much in the Big Apple that I love and love to do.
So yeah, my plate is full, but that is a blessing in and of itself. To tell the truth, if I can make it through 2021 feeling healthy and content, it will be a huge step forward. That’s my plan, and I hope you will all follow suit.
Let’s DO this.
If you’re reading this, I love you.

I was told by a wise friend to contact folks who you had not talked to in a while. So I’ve been going back 10-20 years and having good fun. You’ve done the same. Where are you? Shows, no. You sound great!
